Thank you so much for your interest in supporting the work of PowerHouse Texas! With your generous support, we will be able to continue delivering programs to educate and cultivate energy policy leaders here in Texas.

PowerHouse Texas programs include:

  • Energy Innovation Forums: Energy Innovation Forums bring together industry leaders, academics, policymakers and community advocates to discuss innovative energy technologies that have the potential to increase grid reliability while decarbonizing and spurring the economy. The goal of the forums is to educate legislators and staffers about new technologies, discuss challenges and opportunities, and foster bipartisan collaboration on energy policy. Full recordings and highlight reels of forums can be found on our website.

  • Energy Policy Fellowship: The Energy Policy Fellowship Program is a paid fellowship program that pairs fellows with bipartisan members of the Texas Legislature based on their aligned policy interest and areas of expertise. The Fellowship program is specifically intended for individuals with a background in science, engineering or environmental sciences who are interested in gaining hands-on experience in policymaking and the legislative process. You can hear from fellows, staff and members about what they gained from our inaugural fellowship here.

  • Energy Policy Advisory Council: The Advisory Council will bring together leading researchers and practitioners from energy institutes and universities across Texas to serve as personal trusted advisors to Texas legislators and staffers and help translate the latest research findings into actionable policy recommendations. Meet our inaugural Energy Policy Advisory Council members here.

  • Energy Academy: A series of courses led by Energy Policy Advisory Council members to educate legislative staffers on innovative energy technologies and policy solutions.

  • Texas Energy Tour: The Texas Energy Tour aims to provide policymakers, academic advisors, and staff with a unique opportunity to gain first-hand knowledge of the challenges facing frontline communities while also exploring the latest clean energy technologies across the state.
